I've been known to remove "weeds" that were really plants. I remember when I worked at Isabella County Parks in college and proudly displayed a gigantic "weed" to the park manager. He quickly responded it wasn't a weed and was indeed intended foliage. I can't quite tell if this is a weed or just crazy wildflowers. It is very random. What do you think - is the growth below a weed or flower?

Yardwork
I finally had time this weekend to finish removing the stump grindings from the tree that was removed. I bagged up five bags of stump. Fingers crossed they aren't too heavy and the city will pick them up tomorrow.
This is about 1/2 way through picking up the stump grindings.
This is what the hole looks like now. I removed all the stump and put down two 80 pound bags of dirt plus another 1/2 bag of top soil. I am going to let it sit and will seed it this fall. Hopefully the grass will grow better in my front yard than my patch of sod in the back.

You could have been 'green' and used the stump grindings as mulch in one of your flower beds...
The flowers look like Brown Eyed Susan to me, which are not a weed.
The flowers do look like Brown Eyed Susan's to me:) Maybe a kind birdie planted a seed there for you via it's droppings...
